There isn't much that I hate more than I hate moving. Maybe tomatoes, cos they are seriously pretty gross. Anyways, moving, what a horrible experience to have to go through. Packing, throwing things out, finding new homes for things you don't have room for, trying to get everything in the car. Yikes! I am finally here, with most of my stuff, and I am slowing re-finding the things I need in the many boxes. Its a slow, painful process that I wouldn't mind so much if this was where I was going to be forever, but I know there is another moving day out there, waiting to attack.

The end is in sight.....
As the summer draws to a close and I spend more and more time thinking of the school year ahead, I begin to wonder where the summer has gone.
I feel as though I haven't done as much as I had planned or spent enough time with the people I wanted to. I spent most of July working and thinking I would have tons of time in August to do all those things on my To-Do list. Ha Ha! August had it's own plans for me.
I spent a fabulous week with my grandparents, getting my craft on, and I spent a lot of time with my man and the kids. We swam in the pool, went for boat rides, played at the park, watched soccer games, played cards and read books. What a fabulous way to spend the summer.
Although I hate how quickly the summer has gone I know that there is another one on its way :)

New job!
Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
I spent most of July looking for a job in my new area. I checked the website everyday and applied to every job that I was qualified for. I heard from only one posting. The morning of my interview I turned on the radio and the first voice I heard was Shadoe, my favourite guy from KROCK in Kingston! Wow! He was in the process of moving to Ottawa and now I would be able to listen to him every morning! (first sign). During the interview I was introduced to the interviewers. One had actually started her teaching career at the same school I did. What a coincidence!! (second sign) At the end of the interview the principal asked if I would be interested in a better job if it became available, of course I said yes! (third sign) I got a call the next day saying I had the position! Woohoo!
It is now almost 4 weeks later and I am spending all my time getting ready for my new challenge. There have been a few set backs but I am slowly getting ready, organizing my new room and trying to remember all the new names.
